It's hard to believe GY100 is less than a week away, and it's looking like it's going to be a cold one!

Yesterday was my grocery shopping day for GY100. You get a lot of strange looks when you're out shopping for "race food". I had about 35 sodas in my cart and I walked by a wide eyed little girl (about 7 or 8 years old), she tugged on her moms arm and said "MOM, LOOK HOW MANY DRINKS THAT LADY HAS!" I couldn't help but laugh. Another person asked me if I was getting ready for another bad winter storm he hadn't heard about yet. It made me wonder what other folks were thinking when they say me walking by myself pushing and pulling 2 overfull shopping carts.

I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll at checking on Friday!

Thank you to all that came out to Neusiok and thanks for keeping the trail clean!

This past Sunday while Andy and Brandon were measuring a few courses, I took Caleb and Beka back to Neusiok to hike the Pine Cliff section. It was the first time Beka and I had been on that section of the trail. I realized how out of shape I actually am and we took a few pictures on our adventure.

And according to Beka I was a terrible mother for not letting her stay home to watch TV and play on her iPod all day.

He did it! Caleb Wilson's official finishing time for the Marine Corps Marathon is 6:23. It was a tough run for him, but with much encouragement from Brandon and all the Marines volunteering on the course he pushed through the pain in honor of the fallen MARSOC Marines.

So proud of Caleb! He received the Spiritous Invictous Award tonight from the MARSOC Foundation. (Translates to unconquerable spirit). Good luck at the Marine Corps Marathon tomorrow Caleb and Brandon!
