Hi,

Both Good Eats Cafe and Spuntino have closed for the 2015 season.

I was approached locally with an interesting job offer, and in light of the present lack of a business climate in the Northern Neck,have decided to take the opportunity. We'll see about next year when it comes. From time to time we will still do wine dinners and offer special pricing for cases of wine we discover. However, the French wine dinner that was scheduled for October 8 has been postponed; there just is not time right now to do the dinner to the high standards our dinners maintain.

Thank you all again and again for your support of Good Eats Cafe over the last 18 years.

Short and sweet today - looks to be a beautiful week-end and more at the river. If you're going to the play, "Harvey", or if you've been, our ad in the Playbill is also a 10% off coupon, if you bring it in, good through the end of August. Keeping our cool here at a SpunTinos. Join us this weekend as we have added some new wines by the glass. Sip on a refreshing glass of Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand while enjoying our Chicken Oscar with crab, asparagus and a glaze. Our Fantasticks are back on this weekend's menu. Grilled skewers of beef tenderloin and shrimp over jasmine rice with a Portabella mushroom sauce. Walk in are welcome.

"Farm to Table" is the latest catch phrase in the restaurant industry. Really??? We've always sourced our local farmers for the finest ingredients. Guess that makes us trendsetters. Join us at SpunTino's this weekend. Same chef, same great food as Good Eats. The difference? A contemporary open kitchen environment. Open Thurs-Sunday at 5:00 pm.

What's SpunTino's??? SpunTinos is located right next door to Good Eat's Restaurant on Rte 202 in Kinsale. It is owned and operated by Good Eats Chef & owner Steve Andersen. This year Steve has decided to move his dining room to his next door venue. It is a more contemporary, open dining venue offering the same great food and service, but with an open kitchen. Steve can see you and you can see Steve! Our guests have found it to be a fun and enjoyable way to dine. SpunTino's is open Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday's at 5:00pm.
