pole building at the home of Don Wyatt, owner and brewer, just north of Poulsbo, Washington. Don had five years experience in home-brewing and worked at the Thomas Kemper Brewery before its closing. When Kemper's closed its doors, he decided to follow his passion and strike out on his own. Distribution of Hood Canal Beers started in Kitsap County. He later expanded his sales to the Seattle area via Odom Distributing Corporation, and now he personally distributes to bars, pubs, and grocery stores in Kitsap and surrounding counties. Our Tasting Room is on Bond Road between Kingston and Poulsbo. It's about the ten minute drive from the Kingston ferry terminal or from Poulsbo.

Hood Canal Brewery opened its doors 30 years ago this month, and we cannot say thank you enough. Don Wyatt built this brewery on a simple foundation: a passion for crafting amazing b**r and a deep love for the people who walk through our doors. Over the last three decades, those simple pint glasses have helped build a tight-knit community, spark countless belly laughs, and foster friendships that will truly last a lifetime. Caitlyn and her crew now carry this passion on, keeping the dream alive.
To every single person who has pulled up a stool, picked up a six-pack, recommended us to a neighbor, or spent a rainy afternoon in our taproom—you are the heart and soul of Hood Canal Brewery. Running a small business is a labor of love, but serving this community makes every single late night and long brew day worth it. We care about this place and our loyal patrons more than words can express, and we are endlessly grateful for the way you have embraced us as your own.

AUGUST 29th 4-8pm!

Our incredible friend Joey Knapp was struck on his motorcycle last month, which has left him fighting for his life at Harbor view hospital. If you know Joey, you know how good of a husband, friend, and father he is. His wife Elaina needs all the help she can get to navigate this devastating time. The last thing we want them to worry about are bills, food, and travel costs. Please join us Saturday, August 29th.

Special thanks to Costco for donating everything for a taco feed, and to all the businesses donating raffle baskets, and to joeys co worker at Costco, Alex Ellis , who is donating his time to perform 5-7pm for us all!
