Chantico - Pineapple, Mango, Jalapeño. All the flavor and aroma without the burn. 🍍🥭🌶️

Hibiscus - Steeped with dried flowers for a tart, cranberry-like finish and a stunning ruby hue. 🌸

Maple - Fermented with syrup. Semi-sweet and smoky. 🍁

I’m selling some of my Grammy’s and Mother’s paintings for the Kingfield Art Walk tonight. Most are from the 80’s and 90’s made with high quality oil paints and expertly framed.

OGC is honored to have Coleman Martin entertain us this Saturday afternoon! He has a soothing but honest voice that pairs well with his folk tendencies and excellent finger picking.

Coleman will be taking the stage this Saturday, July 5th at 3:00, but the tasting room will be open at 12:00 as usual. The smoker will be running all day so come hungry, relax by the fire pit, sip some cider and have a lovely evening!

I’ll be headed down to Portland for the Cider Feast on Sunday. It’s a great opportunity to meet and talk with the cider makers of Maine and see firsthand how the industry is growing. I hope you can make it.

The annual Sugarloaf marathon will also be in full effect. Not to worry, .helennn will be taking care of home base for the day while I’m down south.

The orchard provides more than just apples. Extensive pruning was done on some of the older trees in the back lot this year. Perfect timing to get some nice apple wood for the new fire pit. There’s a good amount of chopping to be done.

I’ve added a couple of new items to the food menu!

“The Timber” (pictured), is comprised of tender hickory smoked steak, a vibrant chimichurri, zesty horseradish and garlic sauce served on a soft onion roll with Swiss cheese. Comes with a side of beef Au Jus for dipping.

“The Shiloh” is a not so classic grilled cheese with American, Provolone and Gruyère cheeses on Texas Toast.

“Chantico”, the pineapple, mango and jalapeño cider is now on tap as well.

I’ve been busy preparing for the warmer weather. The outdoor seating will be setup shortly. I’m looking to have some music events and food trucks bopping around this summer. I’ll keep you posted!

Yes, patrons, I’ve taken my sweet time getting to this point but it’s not because I was ignoring the cries from your bellies. Excellence takes time 😉

We’re starting things off light with a short menu to get things going. This will be expanded upon as the months go on but the tasting room will not turn into a traditional restaurant. I simply want to provide you with high quality food to enjoy while you have your flights, etc.

I look forward to taking this next step with y’all!
