A beloved landmark known for its steaks and lively après-ski scene, the Wobbly Barn has been a cornerstone of the Killington experience for decades. As stewards of some of the region’s most celebrated food, beverage, and hospitality destinations, The Karr Group will continue to build on that legacy.
This exciting new chapter is the culmination of nearly 40 years of deep connection, passion, and commitment to the region’s hospitality and community.

The journey began four decades ago when Chris Karr, a student and ski enthusiast, first arrived in Killington. Taking a job as a barback at the Wobbly Barn, he was instantly captivated by the creative energy, innovative après industry, and strong community spirit. That early inspiration sparked a lifelong dedication to building a diverse and successful portfolio of hospitality properties across the region.

Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking energetic candidates with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness to join our housekeeping team!

The housekeeper’s role is to provide commercial cleaning services to all of the Karr Group properties. Tasks include dusting, vacuuming, restroom care, collecting linens, replacing paper products, and generally creating a fresh, inviting environment for our guests. Occasional residential cleaning is required at rental locations. As part of the housekeeping team, you will ensure that all properties are cared for according to company standards. You are a skilled multitasker, efficient, and reliable, with excellent communication and time management skills.

Our ideal candidate has previous housekeeping experience but we will train the right person!

Requirements:
* Clean, dust, vacuum, and/or mop floors of restaurants, bars, and ice cream shop; specifically focusing on hallways, stairways, restrooms, common areas, kitchens, and dining areas
* Outside trash pickup
* Assisting in extra maintenance of floors or carpets
* Seasonal cleaning projects (windows, polishing, outside entryways, etc.)
* Rental property cleaning projects as directed and required.
* Maintain a level of productivity and quality in accordance with business needs and expectations set by management.
* Reliable transportation is a must

To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
* Have the ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
* Have the ability to read and understand labels on cleaning products and chemicals
* Uphold cleanliness standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
* Have physical stamina and dexterity
* Available to work weekends

Occasional residential cleaning is required at rental locations. Groundskeeping duties include seasonal work such as mowing lawns, landscaping, raking leaves, and snow removal.

As part of the Housekeeping & Grounds team, you will ensure that all properties are cared for according to company standards. You are a skilled multitasker, efficient, and reliable, with excellent communication and time management skills.

Requirements:
