Happy Monday! Let’s meet Emilee (with two e’s) 🤙🏼

Emilee is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but quickly realized winter wasn’t for her. So she moved to South Carolina & attended Coastal Carolina University to pursue a degree in Marine Biology. After college, she graduated and moved to the Florida Keys to work on coral restoration & science education.🔬 She came to Silent World after her contracts were done for a fun job to learn more about the recreational side of diving.

In her free time she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, anything involving the outdoors or scouring Publix for Coconut Dr. Pepper 🥥 So if she’s not in the shop making new Instagram posts, she’s at book club, making her friends try her food or out paddle boarding!

Her favorite thing about Silent World is learning more about diving & boating, along with introducing people with the fantastic underwater world (while sharing some cool coral facts)! Her favorite dive site is Training Wheels Reef because of the naturally occurring Elkhorn coral there, which we visit on our scuba tours! 🫧🤿

Happy Monday! Let’s meet one of our instructors, Drew!

Drew is originally from Wilmington Massachusetts. He came to the Florida Keys in search of warmer diving waters! 🌊

When he’s not in the water teaching or out on one of our boats, you’ll probably find him chasing his next adventure on land. In his free time, he loves to play hockey, hit the slopes for some skiing, or finding new trails on a good hike. 🏒⛰️

His favorite thing about Silent World is the fun and inviting staff, and his favorite site is North North Dry Rocks! We visit this site almost daily!

Happy Monday! Let’s meet G…yes just the letter 😉

She’s Canadian originally but moved around every couple of years growing up - she’s lived in 3 countries and 7 U.S. states! After graduating from the University of Miami, she came down to the Keys for an animal care internship, and then worked as a dolphin trainer for a few years. 🐬

Most evenings she likes to cozy up with a good book, but you can also find her playing beach volleyball or going paddleboarding. She also loves to go camping when the Florida heat lets up!

Her favorite thing about working at Silent World is working with a group of people who truly love and care for the ocean and want to protect it. The cute shop dogs are also a definite bonus! Her favorite site is Horseshoe reef because of all the wildlife you can see, which you can visit on any of our 2-site snorkel tours🪸🌊
