Picture this:

It’s 5pm. You slam your laptop shut. You realize you’re starving. You look around the lab all your lab mates are in the same predicament. An owl hoots in the distance. (Very odd it’s still daytime) You suddenly feel a strong urge to participate in Wing Wednesday at wet lab. The whole room pushes out of their chairs simultaneously. It’s a mad dash to beat the summer rush. You push your way down the stairs and sprint towards MSC. You are so focused on your need for beer and chicken wings you hardly notice me behind the bar mumbling, ✨Saecula saeculorum buy a pitcher get a plate of wings✨, over and over again. I have cast a summoning spell on the entire campus.

For my inaugural Wetlab email, I stand humbly before you ready to serve the good people of our community with a fine selection of beers, ciders, and wines.

As your newly elected bartender, I ran my campaign on a platform of cold beers, good music, and knee-slapping Wetlab memes. Today, I plan to carry out that promise, so come on down to Wetlab for a drink, watch some soccer/futbol, and GO USA 🇺🇲.

Bar and food opens at 5pm and sun sets on our great campus at 8:17pm.

It’s finally time! The stars have aligned! And by stars I obviously mean The Wetlab’s Wing Wednesday special and a world cup game. So come on down and enjoy a free plate of wings or nachos with the purchase of every pitcher while you kick back, relax and watch the Brazil Scotland Match on any of our 45,000 TVs (potential slight exaggeration, but really just barely). 

Taps and Kitchen open at 5pm, Kickoff is at 6pm, and sunset is at 8:15pm.
