Dear Lakenvelder & 8 Ball at the Pier Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we share this difficult news with you. After much consideration and effort, the time has come for us to say goodbye to Kerrville and close the doors of The Pier. This decision was not made lightly, and we are incredibly sorry to have to post this message to our amazing followers.

We have poured our hearts into making The Pier our home, and in doing so, we have been blessed to make some incredible friends along the way. Unfortunately, we have faced challenges that we could not overcome. We want to be transparent and dispel any rumors before they spread. We are currently behind on our $15,000 rent obligation. Despite our sincere efforts to catch up, we find ourselves in a situation we couldn't have anticipated and one that no business owner ever wants to find themselves in.

As a result, we must cancel all of our events for this weekend and all future events. This is truly heartbreaking for us, as we absolutely love our regular customers and our amazing employees who have been like family to us. We want you to know that we tried our very best and gave it our all to keep The Pier open.

We understand that rumors may still circulate, but we invite anyone who wants to hear our side of the story to reach out to us directly. Our messages are open for your questions and concerns.

Please know that this was never the outcome we wanted, and we are devastated to leave this wonderful community. Thank you for the love, support, and memories you've shared with us. We will cherish them always.

Dear 8 Ball Family,

We wanted to take a moment to update you on our status today. Unfortunately, due to freezing temperatures and the lack of heating in our space, we have made the difficult decision to close 8 Ball at the Pier for the day. Your comfort and safety are our utmost priority, and we wouldn’t want anyone to be uncomfortable in these chilly conditions.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate this weather challenge. Please stay warm and safe, and we’ll keep you posted on when we can reopen. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back soon for some fun and games!

🎉🎱 Hey everyone! We’re super stoked to announce that Eight Ball at the Pier is opening to the public on Saturday, February 1! 🎊 It’s been a long road, but we can't wait to show you what we’ve been working on and bring back your favorite hangout spot!

We’ve put a lot of love and effort into this place, and we’re excited for you to check it out. 🙌 Just keep your fingers crossed for us as we have our final inspection tomorrow—let’s hope it all goes smoothly so we can open on Saturday!

We are absolutely overjoyed to have shared a glimpse of our vision with all of you on New Year’s Eve! 🎉 It was wonderful to showcase what we’ve been working on for the past two months, and we can’t thank you enough for your support and enthusiasm! 💖

But the journey doesn’t stop here! We’re hard at work, and we’re thrilled to announce that we will be fully opened by February 1st! 🗓️ We apologize for any inconvenience during this time, but we have BIG plans in store for this amazing venue, and we can’t wait for you to experience it all! 🎊

Our goal is to create a place in Kerrville that everyone can enjoy—a community hub filled with fun, laughter, and great memories! 🥳
