Ewings on the Kern, 7:00-9:00pm - Amy Jones is no ordinary, sweet-voiced chanteuse. The easy going, ever-smiling Jones is a remarkably versatile vocalist extraordinaire, whose lyrical interpretations of the music she cares deeply about reveals a sensitive artist and an accomplished musician in full command of her artform. Yet beyond the musical mechanics, there is a certain special quality of her voice that invariably captivates then mesmerizes the listener.

Amy loves exploring the diversity of her unique showcase, a broad musical catalog of gems in the genre of Soul, Blues, Folk and Jazz. At the core of Amy's repertoire are the singer's original compositions, most of which can be heard on her 2011 EP "If You" and her 2021 album "Empty Glasses."

Power trio Mixed Signals is shaking up the Central Valley music scene with a high-energy live show that defies single-genre labels. True to their name, the group pulls inspiration from a vast musical palette, seamlessly weaving together 90s rock, timeless classics, blues, country, and current pop hits into a cohesive, crowd-pleasing experience.
The band’s relentless work ethic has made them a sought-after act for both major public events and exclusive venues. In addition to multiple appearances at Bakersfield's Concerts by the Fountain series, Mixed Signals recently made waves at the new Hard Rock Casino Tejon. Following a stellar debut performance, the venue immediately locked the trio in for a recurring entertainment, complementing their packed schedule of club dates throughout the valley.
The bands sonic powerhouse relies on three distinct local talents. Nathan Winn serves as the group’s rhythmic engine and vocal front man, earning widespread acclaim for his exceptional ability to sing lead while executing intricate drum patterns. Guitarist Silo Ornelas, who also runs a highly regarded Bakersfield music school, brings an authoritative and monstrous playing style that serves as the bands melodic backbone.

Joey Delgado embodies a passionate approach to music with a blend of cultural influences that come together to create his memorable sound. His mission is to impact lives through the art of storytelling and connection with diverse audiences. Performing with his Delgado Bothers, solo and independent projects, Joey embodies heart and soul as the 2016 International Blues Challenge Best Guitarist. His is a true blues powerhouse guitarists and vocalist.

Jade Bennett-Matteo is a singer-songwriter whose voice is unmistakable and her story is amazing. No one sounds like Jade Bennett and Jade Bennett sounds like no one else. She has her own story to tell and her own brand of delivery that will absolutely give you the best chills you've ever felt. Drawing from personal demons and life changing trials, her songs breathe new life into the music world in a dark, sultry, smoky soul infused kaleidoscope of aural genius. Performing with her husband, love of her life, writing partner and guitarist, Gino Matteo as the Bennett Matteo Band. Gino says "I'm totally unbiased when it comes to musicianship and talent. Tito's Handmade Vodka KERN RIVER ROCK n BLUES FEST presented by Mountain Dog Millworks September 24-27, 2026 brings you the General Plumbing VIP Party September 25th, 1:00-4:00pm. This exclusive party includes: performance by HOT TACO, Lunch & Drink, and a huge raffle.

HOT TACO - Formed in Bakersfield, CA, by Billy Russell and Chuck Seaton in 1999 with Tanner Byrom and Ron Mitchell and occasionally joined by Glenda Robles, this band has written and compiled a rather large catalog of songs that have been keeping the boys busy in the studio. Gathering a few of Bakersfield’s best and recorded as many songs that would fit on a CD, In fact the last song was interrupted half way through when the CD format ran out of room. Their first album is made up of classic hits the band loves to perform live. They currently finished 6 songs for their upcoming second CD and have been performing these new tunes at their shows.
