MOTXO MOTXO (mō­cho) is a blend of red wine and our "spiced cola"—inspired by the beloved "kalimotxo" wine-and-cola tradition from Spain's Basque Country.

MOTXO Original Series #8: Not Your Average Product Shot.

✦Here's the story: I had envisioned taking this shot of the Milky Way and our MOTXO bottle like this for a long time. A couple weekends ago, I traveled down to Joshua Tree for the first time. The dark sky and starry nights there are incredible. To make this photo work, I had to use a cell phone light to carefully illuminate the bottle, while exposing for the Milky Way behind. I didn't have a tripod with me (which was dumb) so I had to carefully position the camera on the ground to make it work. I'm very stoked with how it turned out!

Chilling out under the stars afterwards was pretty incredible too 🌌. Also, anyone been to Joshua Tree before? It's amazing.
