Who else can say they have a deviled egg named after them? Asking for a friend… 😂🥚

But all jokes aside, if you knew my mom, you knew she was famous for her deviled eggs. She’s no longer with us, but one of my sisters always makes sure they’re at every family gathering. It’s a tradition we treasure, and an honor to carry on.

So, in honor of my mom, who made the most incredible deviled eggs, and my dad, who had an undeniable passion for all things salmon, this one feels extra special. ❤️🐟

We are excited to be back at the Fall Harvest Market Tsillan Cellars & Sorrento's Ristorante on October 3rd! Come visit us and some other incredible vendors and drink some amazing w**e with a gorgeous view!

Save the date! Saturday, October 3rd from 12:00 to 4:00pm. We are so excited to host the Annual Fall Harvest. We have live music, local vendors, w**e tasting, lunch and dinner at Sorrento's and also an optional w**e walk around the vineyard with the owners and an opportunity to taste some new releases and chat with the w**e makers. It's going to be a lot of fun! More information will follow.

Back to school for our fifth-generation fishermen 🐟❤️

For most kids, summer vacation means sleeping in, long days at the lake, and taking a break from the everyday routine. For a fisherman’s kids, summer looks a little different. Their days are shaped by tides, salmon runs, early mornings, long days on the beach, and plenty of hard work.

And they wouldn’t have it any other way.

I was raised on this same beach, working alongside my Mom and Dad and learning from a young age what it means to be part of this way of life. Some of my favorite memories are the ones made right here, working hard, being together, and learning lessons that had nothing to do with a classroom.

Watching our own children grow up here and now seeing our three grandchildren work alongside us is something I never take for granted. There is something pretty special about watching the fifth generation learn the same lessons we did so many years ago.

They know that long days are part of it. They know that hard work matters. They know there is pride in what we do and in putting food on someone else’s table.

Most importantly, they know they are part of something bigger than themselves - a family, a tradition, and a way of life that has been passed down for generations.

Summer may be over, and the beach days may be fewer for a while, but the lessons they learned out there will stay with them.

Seasons change. Kids grow. But once you’re a fisherman, it’s always a part of who you are.
