If you missed it Alias Band performed last night not only from 6-10 as planned but for an extra hour because the crowd couldn't get enough! Thank you everyone that came to support Alias, aswell as us! We really do have the best crowd in Kemah!

Let me tell you something about people.

What we do isn’t music. I mean, yes, it’s music but that’s not the product. We are entertainers first, comedians second and musicians third. Our energy is affected by the people who listen, and their participation makes what we do possible. Without fans buying drinks and making noise we simply don’t exist. What’s a band without fans?

And last night Kemah Shot Bar took a chance on us and by took a chance they didn’t even hesitate. We went from 6 people to 50 people in a matter of moments. Inconceivably generous and gracious people were able to have fun and experience us for the first time and the bartender there, oh buddy.

As we were loading in he’s out there putting fans on us, a swamp cooler on the guitarist, making sure we had water. I go inside to use the restroom and of course it’s like 67 degrees in there and I realized he was out there suffering WITH us, trying to make it better for us.

We make jokes about places in Kemah but the truth is, it’s getting better. Every bar is struggling, but they keep reinventing themselves, like the beautiful cockroach spirit that won’t die under the oppression of a much richer boot looking to collect land like infinity stones.

All this is to say that it’s people like this who keep bars in business. Low drama, all fun, kind people all over the political spectrum that just want to hear their song.

We are just privileged to play it.

SURPRISE!!!!
Alias Band will be preforming from 6pm-10pm!!
DJ Key will start directly after!!

Plans change so we are flexible, we had to move to Kemah Shot Bar starting 6-10pm tonight and honestly that just means that it’s going to be super wild and raunchy.

Yeah, if you saw us at a family friendly event, this is the opposite of that in every way. Let’s get crazy.
