📜🧠 **OFFICIAL BRAIN GAMES HOUSE RULES** 🧠📜
✅ Teams may have **no more than 8 players**.
✅ Each team must choose a team name and designate one person to submit the team’s official answers.
✅ Only one answer may be submitted per team for each question.
✅ Answers must be written clearly and submitted before time is called.
✅ Once an answer has been submitted, it cannot be changed.
🚫📱 No phones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops or other electronic devices may be used to find or confirm answers.
🚫📚 No books, notes, newspapers, magazines, printed materials or other literature may be used to assist with answers.
🚫🌎 No outside help of any kind is allowed, including texting, calling, messaging or asking someone who is not playing on your registered team.
🚫🤝 Teams may not share answers, give clues or help another team during the game.
🚫📣 Do not yell out answers, hints or possible answers. Doing so may result in the question being thrown out or the team losing points.
🚫👀 No intentionally looking at another team’s answer sheet.
🚫🔄 Players may not switch teams after the game begins.
📵 Phones should remain put away or face-down during trivia rounds. Anyone needing to take an urgent call should step away from the team and may not use that time to research an answer.
⏰ Late answers will not be accepted once the host calls time.
➕ Correct answers earn points according to the value announced by the host. Incorrect or blank answers earn no points unless a special round is announced.
🏁 All category scores are combined to determine the overall winning team.
⚖️ If teams are tied for the overall win, a tie-breaker question will determine the champion.
🎁 Teams must be present when prizes are announced to receive category prizes or select an envelope.
💌 The overall winning team may select **one unopened envelope**. Once an envelope is chosen, the selection is final and may not be exchanged.
🏆 The selected envelope is opened after the host confirms the winning team and envelope number.
🎤 The trivia host’s rulings, score totals and tie-breaker decisions are final.
🤠 Keep it fun, play fair and show good sportsmanship! Disruptive behavior or repeated rule violations may result in lost points or disqualification.
