Everyone knows about our catfish Friday night, but did you know we always (unless we run out, which does happen) have our Giant Catfish Sandwich on hand?

When we were working on adding a hand-breaded catfish sandwich on the menu, we debated…

Yeah, we’re not the rhubarb capital of the world, but…. If you find yourself craving a little rhubarb on the west end of the county today, we just tapped a keg of Bent River Brewing’s Strawberry Rhubarb Wheat! Pair that with a slice of Old Paths Farm’s Rhubarb Custard pie and I think it’ll do just fine.

It sounds like we had a tough Saturday night in the kitchen.
To quote the text message from our cook...
"Chad. That was hell. Twenty tickets at a time for like 4 hours straight."
We've been being as transparent as possible on this venture, so I wanted to apologize if our ticket times weren't what you expected from us. We knew we'd need to up the amount of people in the kitchen and of course it happened to be on a night where we were out of town. You would not believe how much pride we put in an efficient kitchen.
So from now on, we'll have more help on Saturday nights.
Also, thanks to Ashley for powering through, Christiana for coming in to help, and Tasha for pulling an all-dayer because she's an absolute psychopath and just really cares about this place. I can't say enough that we have the absolute best people.
Also, thanks to Claire, Gracie, Ava and Sydney for stepping into the complete unknown and handling a tough night.
Finally, thanks to all of our customers who, as it sounds, were very understanding that we got our butts kicked. Being too busy is definitely a good problem to have, but we still need to step it up!
Now back to your regularly scheduled fun filled week at Bid's!

Saturday Night Update!!

Kayla and I are headed to Busch Stadium tonight and the zoo tomorrow, and thanks to a packed weekend schedule, all of our regular bartenders are unavailable! (Although you’ll probably still see most of them at Bid’s that night — because apparently even their personal parties end up at Bid’s 😂 Seriously, we have the absolute best staff.)

So our solution? Throwing three fresh faces at you on a Saturday night! Yeah, I’m a little nervous too 😅 But I’ve got a ton of faith in these gals, and you’ll still see some familiar faces around to help if they need anything.

Everyone meet Gracie, Claire, and Ava! They’re awesome, they’re fun, and they’re ready to keep the good times rolling. Please give them a little grace as they jump into a tough spot for us, and come out to say hi, show them some love, and have an absolute blast with three great gals behind the bar Saturday night!

That’s right… we just booked Ryan for Friday, June 19th from 7-10 PM at Bid's Bar & Grill!

So here’s the game plan:
• All-you-can-eat catfish bites starting at 5
• Cold drinks flowing
• Ryan playing your favorites from 7-10
• A river town Friday night done exactly the way it should be

If you’ve seen Ryan before, you already know the vibe.
If you haven’t… this is your sign to fix that.

There’s no offseason at Bid’s.

Thanks to everyone who came and hung out with us this weekend! Breakfast went well, so we're going to keep it rolling for this Summer. Also, it seems like the campground eats a little later and you might be hungry when you get back from all thos ball games, so we're going to extend our hours a bit for this Summer!
One caveat for breakfast is that if Lisa isn't able to make it, we're not doing it, so you might want to check our socials before you plan your day around it.
Also.... I have some super fun weekends coming up that I'll roll out over the next few days. Stay tuned!
