If you are looking for golf courses in the Kansas City area, we are located just 25 minutes northeast of downtown. While we offer memberships, they are not required to visit our facility. Our course, driving range, and sports bar are open to the general public! The MariMack Golf Complex is an 18-hole executive golf course that was originally established in 1988 by Mack Porter. Growing up on a farm near Paradise, MO, Porter had farming in his blood. Coupled with a love for the game of golf, he decided to take a 40 acre piece of farmland next to Clear Creek in Kearney, MO and start the course. He designed the course, bought the equipment, and hired his own workers to start the original nine adding a lake and several other features to what was originally just a flat piece of farm ground. Eight years later, Mack took another piece of his idle farm ground and created the challenging “Turkey Trail” nine. All the holes have individual names that relate to a feature of the course. There’s “Paw Paw Patch”, “Limb Locked,” and even”Old Hooker.”

We also have a large driving range along with an ample place to chip onto the putting clock. Our NEW 2500 square foot clubhouse and 1500 square foot in-ground pool (pool not open to public, does require membership) with splash pad and covered portico was added in 2015. It features a sports bar and restaurant with seating for 50, 7 large flat screen TVs to enjoy your favorite game, a fireplace, a conference room, a covered deck overlooking the 1st and 9th holes of “Turkey Trail”, and numerous food and beverage choices.

Turtle ‘bout to have company. Course is drying impressively fast. We are open for play. 18 hole players will start on 9 for the first hour of play. We want the front to have a little more drying time.

Pool is even filling faster than we thought. Possibly open early evening, definitely tomorrow.

Fun morning… Well, only for this guy, he has the place all to himself.

Course is closed until at least mid-day. Way too wet right now to play. If it stops raining, and we drain some hoping to be open around 1 or 2 PM.

Pool is closed for the day. We had a pipe bust in the pump room. Good news is it’s on the secondary pump and is repairable and won’t affect sanitation. Bad news is the pool is about 24” below level, so will take the better part of the next 24 hours to fill.

Huge thanks to Leroy Tormey of 4T Construction. He’s out today transplanting Zoysia turf to some of our tees. This will help improve tee conditions over the course of the next couple years.
