DMX once stopped his performance to say a prayer. The late Tiny Lister, (Deebo from "Friday" movie), was in the audience, and he was so moved by the prayer that he walked up onto the stage, and he and DMX shared a tearful embrace.

In a world filled with mainstream rappers, I don't know of another rapper in history who openly spoke of God more than DMX.

It is sad that trauma from childhood follows many of us into adulthood, and prevents us from finding our true purpose.
