Get to know Jolene Mead, featured speaker for the Annual Meeting Luncheon one week away!
As Chief of Staff, Jolene serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, translating organizational priorities into meaningful action. She leads key initiatives across Port KC, strengthens operations, fosters collaboration, and oversees People & Culture, including Human Resources. Her 15+ years with Port KC have given her a deep understanding of the organization’s operations, culture, and strategic goals, allowing her to effectively connect vision to ex*****on and support teams across the organization.
A Kansas City native, Jolene holds a bachelor's degree in organizational communication from Park University and is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management. Her background in communication, leadership, and people-focused strategy guides her approach to building strong teams, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and positioning Port KC for long-term success.
