The infamous line at Buffalo Trace Distillery - Something every bourbon enthusiast should experience 🥃! The gift shop opens at 9am and sells their featured bourbon whiskey first come, first serve.

The day’s featured whiskey isn’t released and remains a mystery to patrons until the gift shop opens each morning.🌄 Trying to predict what will be offered is a fun game for many bourbon lovers through many bourbon groups, but could include bourbons such as Buffalo Trace, (always available), W.L. Weller Special Reserve, E.H. Taylor Jr. Small Batch, Eagle Rare, Sazarac Rye, and Blanton’s Single Barrell.

It’s a great time, and the bourbon prices are fantastic. 🥃🌟

Cheers to good bourbon and happy shopping!

🥃 Unleash the Spirit of Bourbon! 🥃

Did you know that the rich history of bourbon is as intoxicating as the drink itself? Let's take a trip down memory lane and discover how this liquid gold came to be. 🌾

🔙 The Origins:
Bourbon's roots trace back to the late 18th century in Kentucky. Early settlers, inspired by their European distilling traditions, began crafting spirits from corn and grains. Bourbon County, Kentucky, played a pivotal role in this story, lending its name to the drink.

🥃 The Whiskey Rebellion:
During the late 1700s, a whiskey tax sparked a rebellion in the young United States. Many whiskey makers moved west to avoid this tax, and the roots of bourbon deepened in Kentucky.

📜 Legally Defined:
In 1964, Congress declared bourbon "America's Native Spirit," setting strict standards for its production. No wonder it's enjoyed worldwide today!

So, the next time you sip on a glass of bourbon, remember that you're savoring a piece of American history with every drop. 🇺🇸

🥃📜Cheers!

This 22 year Blade and Bow served neat was amazing smooth! Aged in an American white oak barrel with a subtle aroma of fresh fruit and hints of apricot, pear and sweet roasted grain. This Blade and Bow was produced before it they closed in 1992. This is an experience you can only savor at the Stitzel-Weller distillery while supplies last!
