Keeyoung (.kc) graciously let us take over his restaurant for a one-night bar pop-up. He and his team were incredible—supportive, present, and full of energy. They even created special dishes to pair with our cocktails, and the guests loved it. It was a blast collaborating with Chingu and the team.

2025kc ‘s last day is on May 24th, leaving Kansas City with a heavy heart. While we hope to see a Chingu comeback in the future, we’re grateful that Keeyoung still offers us three amazing spots to soothe our souls:soju • • .eats

Let’s continue to show them the same LOVE and KINDNESS as they’ve always given to everyone in KC.

MASALA GULAB JAMUN

Gulab Jamun is one of my favorite Indian desserts. I grew up in Chinatown, right next to Little India, where I was lucky to experience the world of Indian cuisine.

Gulab Jamun is a deep-fried milk ball soaked in fragrant rose-cardamom syrup — soft, floral, and nostalgic.

This cocktail is crafted to paired with Chef Swetha’s dish for the dinner on Monday, May 12th.

Cardamom rum, French aperitif, masala, mace, rose water, lime, and a house-made Gulab Jamun by Chef Swetha.

A smooth, aromatic cocktail with warm spice and mouthfeel.
