It’s Time for One Last Final Final

When we opened The Final Final in May 2022, it was a little selfish. We just wanted a place to hear great live music and hang out with friends. That was the goal. What we didn’t expect was everything else we’d gain along the way.

We found a real community. We made lifelong friendships. And we fell even more in love with the Kansas City music scene. This bar turned into something bigger than us, and it became a place that meant something to a lot of people.

Natalie has been the heart of it all. While juggling zTrip launches and building a one-of-a-kind condo project, she still found time to pour herself into this place. She built the team, crafted the vibe, and brought in the kind of live acts that made every night feel special.

This has always been a family effort. Charlie, Callie, Timmy, and Faith have all pitched in. And yes, I’ve definitely bussed more tables than I ever planned to. We’ve all been in this together from day one.

Now, it’s time for us to shift our focus. Natalie was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has started chemo. She’s strong, and she’s going to beat this. But right now, the priority is her health and our family. We want to be fully present for her and for each other.

With full hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to close The Final Final.

Our last night will be Saturday, August 9.

To everyone who ever came in, sang along, made a memory, or just felt like part of something here, thank you. You made it what it was.

We’d love to see you over these next two weekends for one last toast, one more night of live music, and a chance to support the amazing bartenders and musicians who helped make this place what it is.

And please, keep Natalie and every woman going through this fight in your thoughts.
