We would like to extend a special thank you and best wishes to Chef Ryan Soule. His restaurant, Oakwood Bistro, closed its doors last night after more than 20 years serving Kalamazoo residents and guests. Ryan has assisted the Theatre Guild in raising THOUSANDS of dollars over several years for WMU Theatre students through the annual President’s Performance. Ryan, we are so grateful for your partnership! 😃 Good luck on your next chapter!

In one last attempt to give back to our community, Oakwood Bistro is partnering with Kalamazoo Central High School’s NHS to collect food and money for Loaves and Fishes from Saturday, December 9 through Saturday, December 16. We will have a dropbox in our entryway for non perishable food items and QR codes will be provided with all checks for monetary donations. Please help us make the holidays a little brighter for all! 🎄⭐️🎄

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the Oakwood Bistro will be closing for business at the start of the new year. The last day of service will be December 31. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Kalamazoo community and all of our faithful staff and regulars who have made the Oakwood Bistro such a warm, welcoming, and delicious restaurant over the last 25 years. We will miss you all!
