Nickel Beer Company is now open every day with beers brewed by longtime San Diego brewer and pub owner Tom Nickel. Located just a half mile east of historic downtown Julian in San Diego's beautiful back country. We serve 5, 9 and 16 oz beers in our tasting room and we have 32 oz and 64 oz jugs to go. The tasting room has a dart board, foosball table and a flatscreen.

This beer is nachos in glass! Made with fresh chopped jalapeños soaked in our Lake Cuyamaca Lager it is bursting with pepper flavor with very little heat.

If you haven’t tried it yet, grab a five ounce next time you are at the brewery!

It is a beautiful day in the mountains and we have both beer AND Food today at the tasting room! This 1937 Chevy Food Truck will be open from Noon to 5 pm today and roughly Noon to 4 pm on Sunday. The food is great and our patio is the perfect place to enjoy it

On the beer side we have a small amount of Irish Car Bomb Stout on tap - Stonewall Stout with Sweetened Condensed Milk and Whiskey Soaked Oak Chips to mimic the classic beer cocktail.
Lots of great hoppy options too including Blood Sweat and Orange IPA, Fix It IPA, Larry’s Place IPA and the new Cheap Truck Double IPA.
Come enjoy great food and beer in the fresh mountain Spring air!

We are so excited to welcome Motor Pie Food Truck to Nickel Beer! Look for Ox and Emily serving up amazing food every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Tasting Room. The menu will rotate often and already they have created some classics! The Julian Dip is a crowd favorite.

We have our new Cheap Truck Double IPA on tap and it is tasting great! Brewed with lots of Krush and Amarillo hops. Our brewer Ray calls it the beer of the future!
