Roets Brewing Company rides again.

We’re partnering with Andrew and Paula Babcock to open Cervejeria Buarcos - the first production nanobrewery of the Buarcos region of the beautiful Silver Coast of Portugal.

We are sourcing equipment, already have a lease agreement and hope to be up and selling Cerveja Artesenal - craft beer - by the beach by the end of this summer.

Roets Brewing Company will continue in Portugal both as Tim’s brewery startup consulting company and as the name of the Babcock/Roets little instrument lounge act.

Yes…April Fools!

It was very cool you’d think we would do something that crazy.

Even better was how many good friends reached out yesterday - believe it or not. My social calendar is full!

I’ll be back out again with the old music act very soon. No joke.

After several mead/fruit beer and braggot recipes we have been developing medaled at NHC, it’s time to announce the end of my short retirement from the industry.

Master Homebrewer Wayne Doucette and I are in the process of opening a Farm Braggotery in his barn in Big Lake. We will focus on distribution, but will eventually open a Tasting Room on summer/fall weekends with a pizza oven, barrel sauna and cold plunge.

We will make fruit meads, but we believe there is great opportunity in the alternative beverage industry, and plan to make Braggot - a cross between beer and mead - the new Hard Seltzer.

More to come soon as this develops, we’ll have our social media up soon under our new name, “Pour Decisions.”
