✨💀 Celebrating Life, Honoring Spirits 💀✨
El Dia de Los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, is a beautiful Mexican tradition where families come together to honor loved ones who have passed on. Dating back thousands of years to ancient Aztec beliefs, this holiday is all about celebrating life’s journey and recognizing the cycle of life and death. 🌸
On this day, families set up ofrendas (altars) filled with marigolds, candles, photos, and favorite foods of those they remember. Each element on the altar holds deep meaning—marigolds, or “flowers of the dead,” are said to guide spirits back, while sugar skulls and colorful papel picado remind us that death is not the end but a new journey. 🕯️🌼
At Amigo, we invite you to experience a taste of this rich tradition, bringing flavors and stories from Mexico’s heart to your table. Let’s remember and celebrate together! 💃🇲🇽
