The Alcove Lounge is a family run bar in the Westend of Johnstown. Wednesday is our wing night. We have friendly staff and great customers. Come see us!!

What a long strange trip it’s been. The cove is officially closed. Thank you to those who supported us we will never forget you. To the ones that didn’t I’m not wasting any more words. The next chapter for us is peace privacy and happiness. Good vibes and much love from us. 🍻

When Al gave us the books in 2020 he told us to sell it, he told us to be happy and have a family with hobbies and just tons of happiness. Al wanted us to have what he never got too. It doesn’t negate the love he had for the bar, building, and every customer who walked in. Al took over the building and business in the 70s which provided for his family, his grand children and his great grandchildren. The Alcove has seen its share of marriages, new families, and lasting friendships.

We have decided to finally take Al’s advice and focusing on family. We will be closing 11pm Sunday June 28th.

We love and respect every business owner still fighting to survive and we can’t wait to continue to support you as we hope everyone else will continue as well.

Please allow us this last week to be filled with nothing but love and memories and come get a cold stiff drink!
