Our favorite day of drinking yet again arrives! Join us for the 95th Annual Blanco County Fair & Rodeo Parade on Saturday, 8/15. The parade starts at 10am and passes right in front of Nice N Easy. We will open up at 9:30am so you can get an early start and stake a good spot to get candy thrown at you. It’s pretty fun!

We have a new beer on and I strongly encourage you to come drink it! “Old Peculier” is a truly classic, singular beer. There is no other beer like it, and it drinks just right. Malty, but not sticky sweet. Deep fermentation character (cherry, to***co, cola, mushroom, etc.). I think maybe we are the first account in Texas to purvey this fine beer? No matter the scenario, I’ve never been more excited to have a particular beer in our bar.
Back in 2023, I (Garrett here) spent a bit of time cruising around northern England on deep research. I found myself at Craven Arms, a pub in rural Yorkshire (pictured in the carousel) and had one of the most intact beer drinking experiences ever. Green grass, cool air, fires going on inside the pub and pour after pour of this “Old Peculier” thru a beer engine. Maybe I’ll run some of this through our very own beer engine here at Nice N Easy? Let me know if you’re into it and it’ll get it on the docket.

EZ BURGER returns, Saturday July 4th!

We’re looking for a part-time bartender/food aficionado/barback to bring good vibes to Nice N Easy.
Who:
A motivated self-starter that enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests with good vibes, nice cocktails, and tasty hotdogs.
What:
• 15-20 hours per week
• Shaking up cocktails + pouring beer and wine
• Making hotdogs and frito pies
• Creating welcoming and thoughtful experiences for all guests (locals and travelers alike)
• Continuing our track record of turning newbies into regulars
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness
• Able to help plan and execute community parties on a quarterly basis
• Nerding out over weird beers, fun wines, classic cocktails, and esoteric spirits
When:
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (evenings and nights).
Compensation:
Pay: $22-$25/hour (total hourly with tips)
Applicants must be 21+ and able to obtain a TABC certification and food handler’s certification or food manager certification.

PLOUGHMAN’S DOG!
We got a new dog in the kennel for Father’s Day only! Also it’s the Summer Solstice if you’re into that kind of thing. This one pulls inspiration from some deep rural England pubs. Heinz beans, sharp Cheddar, pickled onion, and HP Sauce. Get into a few cask pours of Dutchess Ales “G.B.” thru the engine, then get your paws on this dog, ok?

KEY LIME FIZZ 🍋‍🟩
Yeah buddy, another tall drink. Key Lime Fizz is comprised of Pusser’s Rum (infused with graham cracker), Lime, Sweet Condensed Milk, and some good ol’ yummy, frothy foam. Shaken hard, Ramos style. Good news is, you don’t have to take that long (albeit beautiful) drive down Route 1 to get it. Just get on 290 W out to Easy Key. Dress dad in his favorite Tommy Bahama shirt, que up his favorite Jimmy Buffet live album, and bring him out to Nice N Breezy. Sunday, 6/21 only and in limited supply!

CASK BEER!
Ok our feed got a little coupe heavy so now we are moving on to the tall cups. Another feature for the Solstice Party / Father’s Day / G$ Birthday is cask beer. If you’ve had beer poured through a beer engine, you know. If you haven’t, it’s like the home cooked meal of the beer world. Comforting, satisfying, just right. We have Dutchess Ales “G.B.” Pale Ale in the queue ready to be pulled through a sparkler and we are pretty stoked to share this format of beer with you. Sunday / 6/21 only.

GARDEN MARTINI 🌼 🌿 🥒
Old Tom Gin, Vodka (infused with garden herbs and cucumber), and Lillet Blanc. This Vesper-esque iteration of a martini conjures an evening in the garden picking herbs, flowers, and veggies. Delicate and refreshing. Get it on the Solstice and celebrate the longest day of the year with us!
