We both grew up in Jewett Ohio but college and career moves took us away from the Ohio Valley until 2014. When moving back to the area we couldn’t believe how much everything had changed. While other communities saw growth from the gas and oil boom, almost all of the businesses in Jewett had closed. In late 2019 we set out on a plan to change that. We started designing a business plan that would e

ncompass everything a small town would need in one location. We wanted to incorporate gas, a pizza/sub shop, grocery, a convenience store and a Tavern. We didn’t want a single ended business that could feel the impact like most businesses did during the Covid shutdown. We started with the gas station side opening in Dec of 2020, and immediately started working on the Tavern design which we opened in October of 2021. We already had a kitchen staff in place so adding the Tavern was easy. Unlike most bars/restaurants that need an entire staff to open daily we only need 1 bartender to open the door daily. Therefore, we have no overhead and can keep all of our drink and food prices really low. We have a full line of liquor, COLD draft beer, and a full menu with a lot more coming in 2022. We have Live entertainment weekly and always No Cover Charge! We live here and we love our little town!
