Did you know that oysters taste completely different depending on the water they grew up in? 🌊🦪

It’s called merroir (just like terroir for wine!). An oyster from the chilly waters of New England will taste completely different than one from the Pacific Northwest or the Gulf, because they filter the specific minerals, salt levels, and algae of their home shores.

At The Magic Oyster, we curate our oyster selection so you can take a flavor tour of the coastline without ever leaving your seat. ✈️🏝️

In observance of Memorial Day, The Magic Oyster will be closed today, May 25, and will resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 26. Today, we remember our fallen heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. We honor their lives, their service, and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
