Happy Birthday America!!!
Hope everybody is having a great and safe holiday weekend.
As for the Brass Unicorn, big doins' happening this weekend. Getting the area cleaned up and prepped for the 3rd annual Brass Unicorn Ball. This year, as always, Technicolor Trailer Park will be here for the 3rd year in a row. Adding to the party this year will be The Stinky Boots String Band. They will play Saturday. A set before dinner, and a set after dinner. I think they are gonna be a great addition to the entertainment.
As for the food, Friday night aka the warm up night will be smoked pork ribs along with the necessary fixins', salads and such. Saturday night will be the 16 lb brisket i just picked up from Donahue Livestock farm. Which is where all the meat comes from. We will also have all the fixins', salads and such for Saturday. As always, Mr. Awesome will be running sound, slinging cocktails and telling stories of how the Brass Unicorn came about.
This year we will also expand camping areas for additional guests to camp. Kelly has been working hard with trail building for hiking or 4 wheeler rides.
I know I'm getting super excited...it's gonna be a hoot. The count down has begun...T-2 weeks...let's the games begin.

Early morning set up for a private party. Brisket is on, Tinkerbelle is at the watch, and the "pit privy" is ready with amazing views.
Next step is to get the drink fixins', ice, collect some firewood.

New things happening this spring. Brining up some new granite to add some things to the area. The new granite is mesabi(black) and American Mohogany. Both are quarried in Minnesota. Now the bar and immediate surroundings will always be Lake Placid Blue, but it will be nice to have the other colors to accent the compound.
This load is about 2000 lbs. Took 3 trips with the trusty Unicorn Hauler.
