Coed playoffs with conclude on Friday with the first game at 6pm as always.
There will be no time limit but we will appreciate still keeping the game going and not taking your time to the field or bat. Also dress warm and bring a blanket or 2 it’s gonna be a cold one.

Amy will be running end of an era specials on all of the alcohol and inventory provided and by specials I mean big specials. I will let her post that.

First game on Friday will be:

2. Boomstick vs 3. Taasbags 6pm

1. Vengeance vs 4. Bogeys 7pm

Championship 8pm

I wanted to do things differently but with the amount of subs and original posting I had to stick with the original top 4.

I do want to encourage everyone that has played this year to join us for the conclusion of coed and also join us for a celebration of back of the yards softball. I’m not saying this is the end but it’s better to have everyone celebrate and enjoy the sport at the spot we like to play. We will be staying later than usual after the championship to have some drinks and fun. And maybe even a dance off 😂

What a great fall ball league we had this year! Glad to see everyone still enjoying playing and having fun! The men’s league will continue next week with playoffs starting. The playoffs/tournament will be a total of 2 weeks and will finish on October 24th

Seeds are as followed
1. Grimm
2. Vengeance
3. Park place
4. Wet Bottoms
5. All the smoke
6. Rollin bunts

First game next week October 17th

6pm - 4. Wet bottoms vs 5. All the smoke
7pm - 3. Park place vs 6. Rollin bunts
8pm - Grimm vs lowest remaining seed

As always follow the rules stated at the beginning of the season. There will be no more subbing on other teams. Original rosters only allowed.

To the managers of the teams if you can’t fill your roster for the game please dm myself, Terry and the manager of the team you play directly before October 17th! So we can determine a resolution.

It’s showtime fellas! Bring it! Any team can win the ship!

Every playoff game including the championship will be a flip of a coin. Managers only call the flip! This will make things more interesting. Unless Terry decides against this! After all it is his call on the games and the field. If he chooses to not do this we will run higher seed is home but i personally would like to see the games be more competitive.

We had a great start to the fall ball season on both nights. We appreciate all the teams that signed up to play both leagues. After week 1 a few questions have came up.

1. All teams must have every player sign the waiver/roster sheet wether their a sub or full time. This is a mandatory requirement.

2. This is for both leagues!
If you are in need of a sub you are allowed to ask other players from other teams with a minimum of 3 players per game. Managers of each team must be informed before the start of the game.

3. Coed teams are responsible to ensure lineups are consistent and correct. We all know it’s tough finding players each week but if you are a team with 4 women and 6 guys try to sub to make it 5 and 5. If not possible than your lineup has to still follow coed rules where its guy/girl or girl/guy batters back to back. No doubling up. Unless agreed upon by managers before the game and acknowledged by Terry or myself.

You’ll notice by 3rd base there is 2 lines 1 across and 1 diagonal. The cross line is called a commitment line so if you pass that line you commit to going home. The other is the line to the runners plate. This a safe plate to protect the catcher. If you cross that line or are running home and the catcher gets the ball before you touch the safe plate you are out.

4. We are in full compliance of a 1 hour time limit for each game. Show up early and be ready. Game times are listed and should not start 15 minutes late unless a tie happens. If a game is tied at the time limit we will play the game with a runner on second and 1 pitch to get the game ended.

5. There is absolutely no arguing with the umpire. If you feel the need to appeal a call have the manager approach the umpire in a calmly manner to get things right. As most of you know we can always use volunteer field umps to help call the games. If you are interested in volunteering let us know asap each week.

6. Come playoffs we will enforce roster checks. There is no subs, no last addition to any teams allowed. Each team must have players with 3 eligible games to be on the roster. This is the rule I get the most complaints about. But it’s fair to every team to follow the rule with no exception.

Top 4 teams from each league make the playoffs!

As always be safe! Have fun and go see Amy at the concession for any beverage or food needs. We got tons of specials and food for everyone.

Last thing please clean the dugouts and throw things away. Be responsible for yourself and respectful of others.

We will enforce a 1 hour time limit
Hussle in and out of the field. Unless tied games will be called at time limit.

No playing on multiple teams every week.
Respect the fields and umpire, No carry ins at all.
Come playoffs be ready to have your original roster. No adding players after week 3 unless of an injury. If you need a player there is some free agents in the comments that want to play!

Fees will be paid before you play!

Men’s fall ball league is full
I will not be adding anymore teams
Fees are due by September 2nd! No exceptions

Rules apply to all teams and players

- All players must play 3 games to make it on playoff roster.

- The team you sign the waiver for is the team you play on.

- No carry ins. This is a problem. This goes for everyone at the fields. No fast food, energy drinks, etc

- If it’s not purchased at the bar or concession it’s not allowed.

- Come playoff your team manager will turn in the roster before the first game. If you have a player that hasn’t played 3 games it will count as a forfeit. Teams may call roster checks

And as always no extra curricular activities allowed anywhere on the property. Do it on your own time.
