Sorry to announce that, after six years of quality entertainment, the Playhouse on the Square is closing, effective in late August. Thanks to all who supported us. We had a good run.

Rick Hall will be performing his new show, "Tall Tales and True Stories" at Playhouse on the Square 7:30 July 15th. ONE NIGHT ONLY. ALL NEW STORIES of growing up in Greene County. Rick has appeared on the Disney channel's "KC Undercover" the movie "American Presidents" and numerous commercials. He is a MacMurray College alum and has performed "Pig Boy", his one man show and also performs with his wife's band, The Sweet Potatoes. This show promises to be memorable so don't miss it. Tickets $10 at Our Town Books or at the door.

PLAYHOUSE on the SQUARE in Jacksonville will have auditions for the next kids's show RAMONA QUIMBY on Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Auditionees (ages 6-16) will do a reading from the script. The tentative show dates are April 25-27, 2019. Please message director Laurie McCoy if an alternate audition time is needed. Hope to see you there!
