What a heart-warming review received today!
"We are ordering two bottles of your dandelion wine to celebrate the life of our amazing aunt. We sent her two bottles of it in March for her 101st birthday, not sure she would like it since she was used to the sugary stuff her brother used to make for her. We were ecstatic to learn that she not only liked it; she LOVED it! In fact, it was all she could talk about on her birthday zoom with generations of our widespread family (sample comment: “Like it? If anyone tries to touch it, I’ll kill ’em!” Sadly, a month after her birthday, she took a bad fall (nothing to do with the wine), which lead to her death a little over a week later. During that period, the only sustenance she asked for was your wine. Even when she could no longer swallow or speak, her son used the wine to moisten her lips and wet her tongue. So you understand, she wasn’t a heavy drinker. To her, that wine meant the love and comfort of her expansive family. THANK YOU for providing it! I’m sure we’ll be buying more to share with family members, since not one of them can think of our aunt and family matriarch without also thinking about dandelion wine.
