It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Salt Jax Beach. After 13+ incredible years filled with unforgettable memories, laughter, and countless sunsets, we have decided to close our doors. This decision comes not from failure, but the new owners have plans to develop this beloved spot into a hotel.

The past 13+ years have been challenging for many businesses in Jacksonville Beach, but through it all, our loyal customers—our Salt family—have been our greatest strength. We’ve shared so many wonderful times together, and we are endlessly grateful for your support, your smiles, and the joy you’ve brought into this space.

To celebrate all the good times, we invite you to join us for a final farewell party over Labor Day weekend, culminating in a grand finale on Sunday, September 1st. We want this to be a weekend to remember, filled with the same energy and spirit that has defined Salt Jax Beach for over a decade.

On Sunday, September 1st, we’ll have a special event where you can leave your mark on our memory wall—so please come, celebrate with us, and sign the wall as we close this chapter together. We hope to see you over the next two weekends as we say goodbye in true Salt style.

Thank you for being a part of our story. We couldn’t have asked for a better community to share these years with, and we look forward to celebrating with you one last time.
