Cpl. Allen J. Harper will be laid to rest today at Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, following his funeral service at 11am at New Horizon Church, 1770 Ellis Avenue.

You made a difference, Harper, and we're grateful to you. This city won't be the same without you.

Cpl. Allen Harper, credited with heroic efforts over the years, cared deeply about his family, community and colleagues.

- The County Seat has Andrew Pates on Friday and Scott Stricklin on Saturday;
- Cory Branan with the Blackfoot Gypsies at Martin's Restaurant & Bar on Saturday night;
- UnapologeticallyME Tour at Soul Wired Cafe on Saturday night.
