This Sunday, Jackson says goodbye to Grand River Brewery.

When Grand River opened downtown in 2013, it gave Jackson something different. For many local food lovers, it was the first place that invited us to be a little more adventurous, try something unfamiliar and expect more from a night out in our own hometown.

Inside the iconic Kuhl’s Bell Tower building, Grand River helped bring new energy to downtown. It created jobs, hosted celebrations and gave people a place to gather over thoughtfully prepared food, Michigan-made b**r and good conversation.

Competition may be part of the restaurant business, but community matters more.

To the owners, team members and everyone who helped make Grand River part of Jackson’s story, thank you. We know how much heart, work and sacrifice it takes to keep the doors open and the lights on.

We hope Jackson shows them plenty of love during their final days.
