The rockabilly community is mourning the loss of Stan Perkins, a gifted musician and remarkable person who left a lasting impact on Jackson and all who knew him.

As the last surviving child of Carl Perkins, Stan carried his father’s legacy forward with great care and passion. We are grateful for his support of Blue Suede Rockabilly Weekend and for the encouragement he offered as we work to honor that legacy.

Our thoughts are with Stan’s family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His presence will be deeply missed.
