Dear valued & cherished guests,
It is with great sadness that we must share that Thompson House Eatery will not be reopening as planned on November 29th. We have made the difficult decision to permanently close our doors and list our property for sale. We are incredibly grateful for all of the love and goodness we have received over the last eight years. Thank you for allowing us to do the work that we love and for supporting us along the way.
If you are experiencing this news with a heavy heart then you likely had a personal dedication to the joy that you found here over the last 8 years with our family. Please know that we are thinking of you, your presence is felt, and we are eternally grateful to have known you, hosted you, laughed, and cried through the vast personal connections that we made. The culture of Thompson House Eatery is something that we are most proud of and you directly impacted the positivity that we all shared. Hospitality is a true extension of self, and while it has been our pleasure to dedicate our evenings to you, we feel truly blessed that we received so much beauty in return by getting to know so many of you.
Thank you for allowing us into your lives, for supporting our vision, and for making this an incredible chapter. We know that you will have questions and concerns that pertain to our closure, but we need a little time before we are ready to connect. Please offer our family and team the grace of time and space as we shutter our business and plan for our futures.
If you are fortunate enough to have other independent restaurants in your life that prepare real food, with local ingredients, where nothing on your plate has been processed or manufactured, where good humans work hard to prepare dishes from scratch and serve you, please continue to support them. They need you and the planet needs you too!
