Help out our friend!

I know this is a long shot but after Thursday night’s big storm, I came in Friday morning to find one of my brown wicker chairs missing. I walked blocks to see if it had blown away somewhere to no avail. This patio is right outside my shop on Oak Street, Junque Genius Studio. I created this space so that folks could talk, sit, rest, enjoy “food truck Tuesday” and hang out here. It’s a great place for bestie-selfies and has sentimental value. If anyone has info on this stray piece of outdoor furniture please let me know. Please share if you can. TIA

WE’RE OPENING TOMORROW! and that’s because…

WE HAVE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a long couple of days, we are so incredibly grateful to say that we are planning to open for breakfast and lunch tomorrow!

We truly cannot put into words how thankful we are for everyone who has checked on us, reached out, offered a helping hand, or simply kept us in your thoughts.

A HUGE thank you to our friends, our family, and our incredible staff who have been in there with us multiple times..working in the HEAT and the DARK, cleaning up, moving things, and doing everything we could to save what we could.

And to our patrons .. so many of you have become so much more than customers to us. You’ve become friends, familiar faces, and honestly, part of our extended family. Seeing your messages, calls, and offers to help has meant more than you know. ❤️💚

A very special thank you to Anchor Hoagies Bar & Grill for letting us use space in their coolers to help us save some of what we had. We are so grateful for your kindness and willingness to help when we needed it most.

Even with everyone’s help, we still lost a lot, and that part has been incredibly hard. But through all of this, we’ve been reminded of just how much good there is around us.

We truly rely on our community and our family.. and these past few days have reminded us just how lucky we are to have both. When things get tough, you show up. You help. You check in. You remind us that we’re not in this alone. And we will never, ever take that for granted.

Tomorrow, we get to turn the lights on, fire things back up, and do what we love.

Please come out and support us! And if you aren’t in the Irwin area, support a small business. So many have lost so much this weekend!

EDIT: As we get ready to open tomorrow, we just ask for a little extra patience and understanding. Unfortunately, some menu items and things you’re used to seeing may not be available for a little while. We’re doing everything we can to get back to normal as quickly as possible.

Update 💚❤️

We are still without power, and this has been a very trying time for everyone. We are incredibly grateful for all of the crews and individuals working overtime to get our communities back up and running. We truly appreciate everything they are doing.

For those who were planning to attend the high school reunion tonight, please be aware that the reunion has been moved to the VFW at 100 Billot Ave, Irwin, PA 15642.

We are very sorry for the change and any inconvenience it may cause. Unfortunately, the power situation is completely out of our hands, and this was not a decision we wanted to have to make. No one is more disappointed than we are. We are so thankful for everyone’s understanding and patience.

We will continue to keep everyone informed as we learn more.

Please continue to pray for all those affected by the outages, as well as the crews working tirelessly to restore power.

We are hopeful to open soon, and we can’t wait to see everyone!

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again.. THIS COMMUNITY ROCKS! ❤️

💚❤️ UPDATE

Like much of Irwin, we have been without power since around 6:30 PM yesterday following last night’s severe storm. We’ve done everything we can up to this point, but we really need power back so we can properly clean, reset, and get everything ready for our customers.

Because of that, we will remain closed through today. Our hope and plan is to be back to our normal hours tomorrow, once we’ve had the time and power needed to take care of everything here.

This has been a tough one for our community. Last night’s storm did a tremendous amount of damage throughout Westmoreland County, and we know so many families and businesses are dealing with the aftermath.

Our small businesses need you now more than ever.
We truly depend on our community, and every visit, purchase, meal, coffee, service, and bit of support means so much. Please remember to shop local, eat local, and support the small businesses in Irwin and surrounding communities as we all work to get back to normal.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to support us and for this community that has always shown us so much love and support!

And a huge THANK YOU to our first responders, utility and power crews, road and cleanup crews, public works teams, and everyone working to restore our communities. We appreciate you!!!

Please keep Irwin, Westmoreland County, our neighbors, local businesses, and all those affected by last night’s storm in your prayers.

Due to the extreme heavy rain on Main St., our restaurant has been affected and unfortunately
**we’ll be closed for the rest of the evening.** We’re incredibly disappointed, especially because tonight was supposed to be Open Mic Night.

🎤 Open Mic Night will be **rescheduled**, and we’ll share the new date as soon as we can.

These are the moments when supporting your local small businesses matters most. We’re not just a restaurant, we’re part of this community, and we’re so grateful for everyone who continues to show up for us.

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat this weekend, come see us! Bring your friends, grab some food, enjoy a drink, and help support a local business that loves being part of Irwin. ❤️
