Tomorrow we will be closing at 4 pm and will be closed for the next week to transition over to the new owners! I'm sure many of you have heard that I am ready to retire and have been working on selling the bar. I am happy to announce that Tony and Crystal Bongi will be the new owners! They are planning on keeping it as the Wooden Nickel and keeping most things the same for now. Most of our staff will be also staying! Crystal has been working closely with us for sometime now and I'm sure the transition will go smoothly! I'm wishing them the best of luck and hopefully they will enjoy running the Nickel and continue to have the great following we have! Thanks to all the present and pass employees who have helped us make the Nickel what it is today! After 19 years I'm ready to pass it on and finally enjoy total retirement! Love to everyone who has made owning this place special! ❤️
