Water finally receded from Cornell Avenue in front of Plump’s as of a couple of hours ago, and we are grateful to be in a better spot.

Our thoughts are with everyone still battling the flooding. Our hearts especially go out to our friends and neighbors in Rocky Ripple and Ravenswood who have been displaced.

Thank you to everyone in the village who dropped by to check on us, help out, or just offer support. We truly have the best community.

As a bright spot in a crazy few days, we even caught two rock bass that washed up out of the storm sewer. Don't worry, Jonathan safely delivered them back to the river (a much shorter walk than normal).

Through it all, our doors remain open from noon to 2 AM. Your support means everything to us. Come on in, grab a beer, and say hi.

And with the championship game of the Final Four just played in Indianapolis, we also want to congratulate Michigan on an incredible national championship and recognize the tremendous effort of the UConn Huskies in a hard-fought season and title game. That’s the spirit of the game Bobby was talking about.
