Ralston's DraftHouse Named after Alexander Ralston, the engineer who, after moving to the United States from Scotland, was hired in 1820 to help survey our city.

In 1821, Ralston was then commissioned by the Indiana General Assembly to make a city plan for Indianapolis. As originally planned, the city’s 1-square mile footprint included the Governor’s mansion placed centrally on a large, circular commons. Demolished in 1857, the original Governor’s mansion was replaced by what we know today as Monument Circle featuring the 284-foot tall limestone and bronze Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument. Join us at Ralston’s to experience a neighborhood vibe featuring dart boards and a shuffleboard along with a few other bar games to pass the time. The atmosphere is centered around a sport-centric theme, with many large televisions and as much sport viewing as anybody could want. One step in, and what you’ll find is something quite inviting, with as much character as you’d expect along Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis. Ralston's is family and locally owned as of November 2024, and we hope you'll spend some time with us as the business grows!
