Black Acre Brewing Co. Our Washington St Taproom is now open to the public! Black Acre Brewing Co. is a small batch brewery located in Irvington, Indiana.

After almost one year since the devastating fire in December of 2019, we're happy to be serving Black Acre beer, Wilderland Distillery spirits and cocktails, and guest wines from our original location. The idea for Black Acre initially was conceived in 2010 due to our love of brewing, great beer, and the beer community at large. We created Black Acre with the goal of contributing delicious and uni

que beers to the community in which we live. We hand craft our ales using a custom fabricated 3 barrel electric brewing system. Distribution is limited through our in house tap room sales, where both pints and growlers are available.

It’s the day before the final day here at BA. You all bought all the glasses, but we still have plastic steins, growlers, barrels on bonna glasses and blank glasses…plus we found a small batch of colored Corvus pints available for $8 today.

Also we have found a few more bottles of saison du muntz and extant. Plus there is less than a case left of magpie and Madeira Cherry beard tax left.

Lastly we add some gorgeous barrel stave bottle openers branded with BABC on them.

Few updates for a dreary Monday! First off we are selling these Barrels on Bonna glassware. We have a ton selling them for $7 and you can request to have your beer in them too if you want.

Second: we have some new posters available some are $5 some are $2, along with some glass stickers…ask your bartender for them!

It’s been so great seeing everyone as we have our last hurrah together! The support and love has been overwhelming and we’ve been so happy to see you all.

That being said, due to an incredible amount of glassware theft, we are switching to plastic cups for the rest of the week. We still have glassware and other memorabilia for sale, just ask your bartender! Remember, memories are free but souvenirs cost cash.

Open noon to 10pm today and noon to 8pm tomorrow!

Well as we wind down we are certainly going to have plenty of announcements of special things over the next two weeks…here is the first round of some stuff for ya all!
1. Starting tonight the kitchen will be open for service the rest of the time…until we run out of product! Also to go along with the kitchen staying open, wanted to make it clear that if you purchased fry tickets from us, please feel free to bring those back in and we will either refund your purchase price, or your can redeem each ticket for a free beer!
2. We were able to find some most excellent black acre beer posters! We have them for sale at the taproom for $25 a piece. That Saucy Intruder poster actually won a national advertising award!
3. The black book in the last photo is going to be our memories journal. We would love to hear from you and what BA has meant to you over the years. Next time you are in please request the journal and add whatever you would like to it!

Last call!

Black Acre Brewing will be closing effective February 4th, 2023. We are extraordinarily proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in our 11 years in wonderful Historic Irvington, but it’s time for us to close this chapter.

Oh what a chapter it’s been! We have met so many great people and built life-long friendships along the way. We are truly grateful for all of you. We know we are incredibly lucky to have been able to be a part of the vibrant community here. We’ve laughed together. We’ve cried together. We’ve survived floods, fires, and plagues together. We’ve had lots of tasty beers together. We are really going to miss it.

Let’s go out on a high note! Mark your calendars to celebrate with us:
