This July 4, as America celebrates 250 years of independence, all Huse Culinary restaurants will be closed so our team can spend the holiday with their families and loved ones.

We have always believed the guest experience can only be exceptional when the employee experience is treated with the same respect.

On this day of celebration, we pause with gratitude for our country, our guests and the stewards who have made our organization all that it is.

Congratulations are in order for Denise Weathersbe, for her recent promotion to Vice President of Human Resources!

Denise began her journey with Huse Culinary in February 2025, bringing with her over 30 years of experience of hospitality and corporate HR.
Since joining our team, Denise has shared how quickly this place felt like home because she loves working with people who love to take care of people. She's also mentioned there's 'no comparison' to hospitality when it comes to the people you get to serve alongside.

"Coming to work with Huse has solidified that for me. I feel great every day I walk in the office, I trust that the folks that I get to work with are truly a team, and I adore the stewards that I have the honor of serving. It is with great pleasure to announce the promotion of Travis Strong to Vice President of Retail Products.

Travis was the very first hire in the retail division of Huse Culinary. When he joined us more than nine years ago, St. Elmo Foods was a regional brand with just cocktail sauce and seasoning. During his tenure, the brand has expanded to more than ten retail products, along with the launches of St. Elmo Cocktails, Barkeep Vodka and Rare Saint Whiskeys.

Since day one, Travis has led our efforts to expand the reach of St. Elmo products, from several hundred stores to more than 4,000 locations almost nationwide (38 states). His leadership has been instrumental in building our retail product presence and developing the partnerships and team that continue to drive our growth!

"At just seven years old, Michael Christensen experienced something that would stay with him for a lifetime.

After moving from Michigan to Indianapolis, his family celebrated the transition—and his father’s new job—with a dinner at St. Elmo Steak House. “It was phenomenal,” Christensen recalls. “An amazing experience that I’ll never forget.”

Now, decades later, that early memory has come full circle. Today, Christensen serves as Director of Culinary Operations for Huse Culinary, the hospitality group behind St. Elmo Steak House, Harry & Izzy’s, and several other beloved concepts—helping create those same memorable experiences for guests every day."
