After countless wonderful evenings serving innovative bites to Indianapolis, the Restaurant at the Kan-Kan is closing for a few weeks to overhaul the kitchen. We will be emerging with a new concept, and we are incredibly grateful for this community who has poured themselves into this place and shown us so much support over the years.

We hope you stay tuned and stop by to hear more about what’s in store for our space.

On this day, 15,706 days ago, 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial' was released in theaters. What does that have to do with our delicately charred and deliciously appointed Seared Tuna? Admittedly not much. But that's the Wikipedia page I coincidentally found myself on this morning and now we all have to talk about it.

This weather might make you soggy, but our tempura never is. Crispy fried veggies topped with some yum yum sauce—I mean, come on, it's called *yum yum* it can't not be delicious—will be ready when you get to the Kan-Kan tonight.

Now that that's out of our system... HALF-PRICED WINE BOTTLES WEDNESDAY is tonight because it's WEDNESDAY we double checked. That means half off this lovely bottle of cloudy sake! If you haven't taken the leap to cloudy sakes before, they're a little sweet / a little dry and this one's got some summer fruit notes to it.

Leave work a little early, we open at 5 p.m. tonight.
