It’s labor weekend and we had a lot great people stop by to help us celebrate!! New guests discovering McSweeney’s for the very first time and those “regulars” who we see often !! ❤️❤️❤️ It was the best of both worlds and we enjoyed every minute of it !!! Our kitchen continues to impress our guests with our Irish Nachos, Spicy Chicken Sandwich and our Signature BeerBattered Fish and Chips !! The bar is still whipping up those summer Margaritas and Spritzes !!! Speaking of Margaritas it’s Margarita Monday !! Join us today for $8 Margaritas!! As well as some great appetizers like Jalapeño Battered Fries and Mini Chicken Tacos !!! If you haven’t had a McSweeney’s Margarita then today is a great day to have one !! AutumnCocktails are right around the corner but today it’s about those delicious Margaritas!! 🍹🌮🍹

It’s been great to see some many return customers coming back year after year !! And this summer has been no exception!!! Some come just once a year but always make a return visit to see us !! One man told me the last time he was here I was on a medical scooter which was three years ago !! He also told me he helped me clear off tables which of course I always appreciate!!! Our customers truly are the best !! Some of my favorite families recently stoped by ! Lauren stopped in with her family for her second annual Birthday cocktail !!! I think this might be becoming a tradition!
Our frequent customer Mike brought his friends probably I think four times this past week ! They are all pictured below eating our Spicy Chicken Sandwich which has become the hit of the summer !! If you know you know !!! I posted a few more pictures from our Beach Party ! Arlo and my daughter pictured below❤️❤️❤️ And I think this motorcycle picture is was of the cutest I’ve ever taken !! You can feel the love !!! Lastly, it’s Margarita Monday !!! Flavors include : Raspberry, Raspberry Habanero, Blueberry, Peach, Jalapeno, and Lime today !! All for only $8 !! Made with all fresh ingredients!!! We also will have some spicy appetizers which will pair nicely with a McSweeney Margarita!! And yes an Irish Pub can make great Margaritas!!! Tonight we get to celebrate two occasions at McSweeney’s!!🥳🥳 First, it’s our one and only Julie’s Birthday!! We love you and appreciate all you do for us !! ❤️❤️❤️We hope all your wishes come true !!! Secondly , we are celebrating our third season of softball with our end of year party !! So, we hope you will all join us tonight to celebrate not only Julie but also her teammates that make up McSweeney’s softball team !!! If you know these women you know they know how to have fun !! 🥳Also, tonight the kitchen is open till 9 for your dinning pleasure!! Hope to see you all tonight !!! 🎉🥳🍾🎊

I wanted to share the post this morning but it got so busy and I had no time to look through so many great pictures. So, before the day ended I wanted to wish my favorite guy a very Happy Birthday!! It’s Margarita Monday !!!And today we raise our Margarita glass to celebrate one of my favorite couples , Danny and Catherine !!! Yesterday they were married !!! And they stopped in for a cocktail before heading for their afterparty!! And of course I had to get a picture of the newlyweds!!! ❤️❤️ Thank you for stopping in on your special day !! It warmed my heart!!❤️We wish you a lifetime of happiness!! Cheers to Danny and Catherine !! 🥂🍾👰🤵‍♀️

McSweeney’s has been buzzing with activity and it’s time to recap !! 🥳 Dave and I had relatives travel thousands of miles to see us and their visits were wonderful ! We had a Beach Party where my daughter and her boyfriend were the guests of honor . They travelled all the way from Hong Kong to see us !! Dave’s nephew, niece, and children visited us for the first time traveling from Ireland !! ❤️We enjoyed their visit so much !!❤️ We also took time off to travel to Newport , Rhode Island to celebrate Dave’s niece’s wedding . It was a beautiful celebration!! During the last few weeks we also had a lot of enthusiastic fans stopping in to watch the World Cup Games!! When Spain won we even had a fan representing the Word Cup Winner!! He pictured below celebrating with a pint of Guinness!! Besides the World Cup Games we celebrated Birthdays, NewlyWeds on their Honeymoon and a future groom who also won our Limbo Contest at the Beach Party!! We saw a lot of our old friends like (Gary and Rory) and we met a lot of new friends who we can’t wait to welcome them back !! A lastly an update of our sweet dog Bailey’s health. As many of you know Bailey had a medical emergency and gave us quite a scare ! We are beyond happy to say that she is recovering like a true champ !! ❤️❤️❤️We are ecstatic!!! 🥳🥳So, the last few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity and we are so excited to take you all along for the ride !! We appreciate the support!! We have the best customers and we love you guys !! Hope to see you all soon !!

Tonight is our Beach Party at McSweeney’s!!! My daughter Nikki and her boyfriend Antoine will be our special guests !!! They have traveled all the way from Hong Kong so stop in tonight have a cocktail and give them a warm welcome!! We have music tonight with our favorite DJ Larry from Top Shelf !! We are making some super fun cocktails behind the bar tonight!! Pictured below is a personal sized Fish Bowl Cocktail!! It didn’t photograph the best and my fish keep sinking but I promise it’s delicious!! Also, fingers crossed we may have Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri Slushies!! We also will have a Limbo Contest !! Thank You to Cristi and Nanci for another great job decorating!! They have transformed the pub into a summer wonderland!!! So, please stop in and enjoy the beach vibes here at McSweeney’s !! And come say hi to the cutest couple I know !! Music starts at 9 but Happy Hour starts at 5 !! We are creating a lot of Summertime Vibes here at McSweeney’s!! We have outdoor seating, delicious salads, refreshing Spritzes , and ice cold beer !!! And next Friday July 17th we are having a Beach Party !! We will have two special guests attending all the way from Hong Kong !! ❤️❤️We will have topical cocktails including FishBowl Cocktails!! A Limbo Contest !! Music and so much more !! Beachwear is not required but highly encouraged!!! Tomorrow look for this weekend specials !! And remember to save the date for next weekend’s epic Beach Party !! 👙☀️🏝️⛱️

So, our Women’s Softball Team played Chestertown @ home last night and won 11-9 !!! Dave and couldn’t be prouder of Team McSweeney’s!! Unfortunately, we had to work at the pub so we missed the game .☹️But I heard everyone contributed to the win against a very tough opposing team !! Below is our team picture this year . Unfortunately, we are missing Sierra Ross, Hannah Henry , and Willa Ferrer from the picture. So, we attempt another team picture soon with everybody for our wall at McSweeney’s . Thank you to Chestertown for giving us a great game ! Thank to our Coach for a great win !! And thank you to our Umpire who jumped as a substitute!! This win might just be the momentum we need to finish this season strong !!💪 Great job Team McSweeney’s!! We love you guys !!! 🏏👧🏏
