His small ship sailed along idyllically on a beautiful moonlit night. Suddenly the sky darkened and the ship was unexpectedly caught in a squall. Barbados Bob was swept off the top deck by a mighty wave into the sea. All through the night, his faithful crew searched for him to no avail. Little did they know the Barbados Bob had been rescued by a Mermaid and brought to the shores of Cape Cod. As sh

e dropped him off safely on the shore she whispered in his ear, "You shall open a Raw Bar and sell the freshest seafood in the land." Come see why the Raw Bar has been voted the home of the number one lobster roll in New England by Billy Costa of the TV Diner, Channel 5's Chronicle, The Phantom Gourmet, V.B, and Maria of Fox News.

It is with much sadness for us to say that we lost the one and only Bob Weekes. The man, the myth and the legend has earned his wings and transitioned onto a new journey in his legacy. To know Bob was to love Bob and hearing everyone’s memories of him has been truly heartwarming. There will never be another Bob but we can continue on in memorium of him by telling stories, sharing memories and spreading generosity amongst one another her. His smile and contagious laugh will be sorely missed. It’s not a goodbye it’s a see you later 🤍

We will be celebrating his life on Friday, May 16th at the Woods Hole Community Hall. Please send photos, videos, or voice memos with your memories of Bob to: [email protected]

In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Cape Cod Boys & Girls Club or the Cape Cod Special Olympics in his name
