This envelope contained a generous tip from a group of kind-hearted guests, including one of our regular customers.

Tyler, one of our hardworking servers who has been with Phuket for five years, was genuinely surprised and grateful to receive such a thoughtful gift. He told us it was a meaningful amount that he could put to good use right away.

Sometimes, you never know when an unexpected act of kindness will come along and brighten your day.

There was also a note tucked inside the envelope, making the gesture even more special.

Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to have such caring and generous people in our community. Kindness has a way of making the world feel a little brighter and a little warmer for everyone.

Throwback Thursday!!

Here’s a fun little memory from the early days of Phuket!

Mr. and Mrs. Phuket were sitting in front of the sandstone mural depicting the Ramakien, Thailand’s national epic. We actually imported this beautiful artwork all the way from Thailand and installed it ourselves on the restaurant wall!

This photo was taken just a few days before Phuket officially opened in 2006. Hard to believe it’s been that long already!

We’re pretty sure many of you have sat at this exact spot over the years — for family dinners, date nights, celebrations, and so many special memories.

Phuket would never have made it to 20 years without the amazing people who have been part of our journey since the very beginning.

Since opening our doors in 2006, we’ve had hundreds of servers work with us. Many of them were high school students and college students from UAH, Oakwood, A&M, Athens State, and Calhoun.

One of the things we are most proud of is knowing that Phuket became a small part of their journey toward graduation and a brighter future. Some of them went on to become doctors, engineers, programmers, accountants, teachers, and so much more.

We always told them that we never wanted them to become “professional servers.” We only hoped Phuket could be a stepping stone that helped them move forward in life. We truly believe that education opens doors, creates opportunities, and helps build a better future.

That’s why we are always happy — never sad — when someone leaves Phuket because they found a stable career in the field they studied for. We don’t see it as losing an employee. We see it as being a small part of their success story, and that makes us incredibly proud.

If you are one of the many people who once worked at Phuket and now have a career and a life of your own, wherever you may be, please know that we are always cheering you on. Don’t be a stranger. Come say hello and visit your Phuket family whenever you can.

And if possible, we would love for you to come celebrate Phuket’s 20th anniversary with us. It would truly feel like a homecoming for all of us at Phuket. ❤️
