TONIGHT, we start the weekend doing what we love... celebrating incredible entertainers, dancing together, and making memories!

Then SATURDAY, we celebrate the woman who inspired our name and so much of the love, acceptance and fabulousness we believe in. 🌸

🐾 Hey, this is Dug... the REAL manager of Disco Dolly’s.

I know it’s a hard time for a lot of people right now. Losing your heroes is ruff. The stars, celebrities, and icons we grow up loving can feel like part of our lives.

I mean, hell… you should’ve seen me when I lost Lassie. 😭🐶

But I want to remind everybody to keep your head up, smile when you can, and remember them for who they were and what they gave us. They wouldn’t want us sitting around sad forever. They’d want us laughing, dancing, loving each other, and remembering all the good they left behind. ❤️

So stay pawsitive. 🐾

Now… I could use a little pick-me-up, and I think y’all could too.

After reviewing current staff performance, and sheer lack of treats, I’ve decided it may be time to start replacing some of the employees around here with four-legged employees. Frankly, I think productivity would go through the woof.

So I’m officially accepting applications. 👔🐕

Today we lost another legend. 🖤

Tim Curry was so much more than an actor. For generations of people who ever felt a little too loud, a little too weird, a little too glamorous, or simply different, his work... especially as the unforgettable Dr. Frank-N-Furter... showed us just how powerful it could be to unapologetically take up space.

The camp. The confidence. The fishnets. The absolute refusal to fit neatly into anyone else's box.

That spirit lives in so many of the performers, artists, and beautiful weirdos who walk through the doors of Disco Dolly’s every weekend.

Thank you, Tim Curry, for helping generations of us find the courage to be strange, be fabulous, and don’t dream it… be it. 🖤✨

Today, the world feels a little less sparkly. 💔🪩

Disco Dolly’s would like to take a moment to honor and remember the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Dolly was so much more than an entertainer. She was a symbol of kindness, individuality, acceptance, and the courage to be unapologetically yourself. For generations, she embraced and inspired the LGBTQ+ community and so many of the performers, dreamers, misfits, and beautifully different people who make up the culture we love so dearly.

In a world that often tried to put people into boxes, Dolly reminded us that you could wear the rhinestones, dream bigger than anyone thought possible, love people exactly as they are, and never dim your light for anybody.

Our name may be Disco Dolly’s, but the spirit behind this place has always shared a little of that Dolly philosophy: be loud, be kind, be fabulous, and make room for everyone.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the love. And thank you for helping make the world a safer, brighter, and much more glittery place for the culture and community we love.
