Similar to a mythical bird called the Phoenix, which could be reborn after bursting into flames, most glass can be reused and recycled an infinite number of times, while never losing its quality. It’s our goal to reduce the amount of glass being thrown away and give it a second life as a new container, building material, or handmade craft. Glass containers are made from raw or recycled materials a

nd are, on average, only made from 33% recycled materials even though that number could be as high as 95%! When glass manufacturers use cullet (crushed up glass) to make new containers they save raw materials, lessen the demand for energy, and cut CO2 emissions. If recycled properly, a used glass container can become a new bottle of your favorite beer in less than 30 days.
