Hello Valued Customers and Friends,

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I am writing today to update everyone on what is happening at The Rapids.

After 8 years, the Rapids Bar & Grill will be opening for our final week on Wednesday. The building's owner has decided to sell and will not be renewing our lease. New Year's Eve will be our last day in operation.

I wanted to personally thank all of our customers for your support and patronage throughout those 8 years. As a restaurant owner, I could have not have asked for a better group of customers and friends to serve through the years. And special thanks for the support you gave us during the last two years. The pandemic made a hard business even harder with closures, shortages, hiring issues and inflation. Chef Matt, Annie and our staff did the best possible job to provide a smooth running operation in the face of these challenges. And my thanks and grattitude goes out to them also.

But as fate would have it, and just as it seemed like the worst was behind us, we are forced to close due to circumstances beyond our control. Chef Matt, Annie, our staff and I, will sadly miss you all. Many of you have become friends over the years and for that I will always be thankful.

We look forward to serving you for our final week. I will send updates via our emails and page. If you don't have any plans for New Year's Eve, we will be serving up a buffet on our final night. As always , you can count on Chef Matt to cook up some delicious treats. If you can't make it on New Year's Eve, please swing by during the week to say farewell to our staff.

Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions or want to share some fun stories from the past years together.

Again, I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to the best customers we could ever ask for!

This week we are giving the kitchen a break after the long summer and before the holiday season begins. We will be open Thursday thru Saturday this week. Bar will be open and we will be offering a limited menu of pizzas and appetizers. We will be closed Wednesday and Sunday this week.

We will be reopening fully on Thanksgiving Eve (next Wednesday( with our own Keith and Renee Boylan providing entertainment!

Hi Everybody,

We have a limited staff today and will be running a limited menu. Chef Matt is in the kitchen alone as we have been unsuccessful in hiring for weeks now. Until we can rectify this, we will be offering a limited menu that we will rotate each day. The menu will be posted on our page as well as in daily emails. We apologize for the inconvenience but these issues are beyond our control.

If you know of anyone that is looking to work in the kitchen, we are offering great wages. Whether it's full time, part time, temporary or permanent, please get in touch with us.
